She has completed Yoga Central’s three year, 200 hr Advanced Studies teacher training program receiving certification with Yoga Alliance. Carol is also certified with Judith Hanson-Lasatar as a Relax and Renew Trainer.

She discovered the transformative practice of yoga shortly after a cancer diagnosis in 1995. Her first yoga experience led her to a profound sense of well being and peace. Immediately she knew she was onto something. This passion led her to wanting to share the experience and benefits of yoga by teaching others. She completed a 3 year Yoga Teacher Training Program at Yoga Central in Saskatoon.

Her mindfulness practice in the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh greatly influences her approach to yoga. She focuses on awareness of the breath and its connection to the mind and body to maximize relaxation, stress relief and true peace.

I started taking yoga classes in Saskatoon in the early 90's and have studied under various teachers in week-end and week long intensives. In January of 2009 I received my teaching certificate from Yoga Central in Saskatoon, after completing a 200 hour teacher training program run by Mary Lou Weprin (Registerd yoga teacher) from Berkley, California, and Patricia Dewar (RYT) from Saskatoon.
